The DBT 1000 is an entry level telephone in the DBT range. It is cost effective and has all the basics needed on a telephone to do every day tasks. As the DBT 1000 is analogue it will work off an analogue extension on a telephone system or direct into an analogue telephone line.

One of the main things about the DBT 1000 is that is such an easy telephone to use. The keypad is nicely spaced out meaning that telephone numbers can be dialled quickly and easily. It also means that it is harder to hit a wrong digit and dial the wrong telephone number by accident.

If you ring a telephone number and it is engaged or no one answers normally you would have to redial the whole telephone number in full. With the DBT 1000 telephone this is not necessary as there is a redial button on the telephone that will instantly ring the last number dialled.

Also the DBT 1000 telephone has a mute button that when pressed stops the microphone on the handset from working. This means that if you need to ask a colleague a question and do not want the caller to hear, by pressing the mute button you can do just that.
